Group Sales FAQ

Q. What is the minimum number to receive the group discount?

A. To receive the group discount, you must have a group of 10 or more for any Bank of New York Mellon Grand Classics, PNC Pittsburgh Symphony Pops, or PNC Broadway Across America - Pittsburgh performances.

Q. Where will I pick up my tickets?

A. Either your tickets will be mailed directly to you or held at the box office.

Q. How long will the concert be?

A. For most concerts, approximate run time, including intermission is 2 hours. For more specific information regarding our smaller concert series, please contact us.

Q. What is the age for senior pricing?

A. You must be at least 62 to qualify for senior group pricing. Senior Rush is available two hours prior to select concerts. Rush tickets are subject to availability and exclude certain seating areas. Not valid on previously purchased tickets or in combination with any other offer. Pricing subject to change. Valid ID required. One ticket per ID. Restrictions apply.

Q. Is a deposit required?

A. In order to assign seats, we require a non-refundable 20% deposit within 10 business days of making your reservation to continue holding the seats. The deposit is payable by check or credit card, and will be credited toward your final balance.

Q. When is final payment due?

A. Final payment is due one month prior to the concert date. If the performance is within one month, please contact us for special arrangements. Once the final payment has been received, there are no refunds or exchanges.

Q. Can I change my order?

A. Yes! Group orders can be adjusted until the time of final payment. Once the final payment has been received, there are no refunds or exchanges.

Q. Can my group sit together?

A. We make every effort to seat all the members of your group together. Unfortunately, this is not always possible. In general, the earlier you make your reservation, the more likely that we can accommodate your seating requests. Also, you are welcome to order tickets with different locations/pricing within the same group order.

Q. When can I make my reservation?

A. As soon as you pick your date! Advance ordering is the key to getting good seats. To order your tickets, please call the Group Sales office at 412-392-4819 or email us at We'll help you through the process! All you need is the date of the event, approximately how many tickets you'd like, and the seating location.

Q. Do I have to purchase a ticket for my child?

A. Yes, you must purchase a ticket for your child. Children must be at least 6 years old to attend any symphony performance, with the exception of our Fiddlesticks concerts.
