Carolyn Semes


Carolyn Semes, from Philadelphia, is a recent graduate of the Juilliard School where she studied with Laurie Smukler and Masao Kawasaki.

She has performed with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and the New World Symphony. While studying at Juilliard, she served as concertmaster of the Juilliard Orchestra and was a recipient of the Gluck Community Service Fellowship. She has attended festivals across the United States and Europe including the Tanglewood Music Center, Verbier Festival, Music Academy of the West, Spoleto Festival- USA, and the Aspen Music Festival and School.
