The Neighborhood Partnerships program contributes to lively and energetic neighborhoods through music. Driven by community voices, it promotes connectivity within neighborhoods across the Pittsburgh region and uses music as a resource to achieve community-relevant objectives.

Hill District

The Hill District Neighborhood Partnership celebrates its rich cultural legacy and elevates contemporary artistic and residential voices. The partnership is steered by a community advisory committee that collaborates on programming, shares local feedback, and networks with Hill District community members. Join us for this year's Lift Every Voice performance on January 19, 2019 at Heinz Hall featuring Hill District artists in collaboration with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.

Wilkinsburg

The Wilkinsburg neighborhood partnership promotes music education in the Wilkinsburg School District by raising funds for the music program, supplementing music instruction with classroom visits by PSO musicians, and providing opportunities for students to attend performances at Heinz Hall. Join us for this year's Wilkinsburg community concert on May 2, 2019 at Turner Intermediate School (formerly the Wilkinsburg High School building).
